The hotel featured in the film, “The French Lieutenant’s Woman”. Please send articles to me, Andrew Townsend, at firstname.lastname@example.org or add a comment. Thanks to David Moss for all his work. Comments are closed at WDDC for the plans to redevelop the site but you can still write to the papers.
Some exciting things have been happening in the way of building preservation in Manchester. The link to the Ancoats Building Preservation Trust at the bottom of the side bar on the left takes you to their web site and some interesting stories of innovative problem solving to keep much loved buildings alive. We have also added a link to The Association of Building Preservation Trusts which has many links to web sites with more case studies.
