I see that the meeting and was announced Friday by the online version of the Blackmore Vale magazine.
There is also an article on the BBC website, which was published today.
According to the article by the BBC, a spokesman for the Palmers Brewery, which owns the Three Cups, said the present economic climate is preventing them from reopening, and "once the economy improved, The Three Cups would be the first priority."
I would like to see a comment on this by someone who was at the meeting. Thanks.

I think in practice the people of Lyme do not now have the patience - not after 2 years, 5 years or 6 years, but after an incomprehensible 20 years. It is in some instances no longer the elder generation who are concerned, as they have passed on, and it is their offspring....Even since stabilistaion work was completed two years ago, we have heard from Palmers..... first...... Seatown is our priority'. Then we got 'The Economic Climate). More recently we heard 'the financial climate' was their reason for delaying doing anything with the Three Cups. As ever there is no definite long is a piece of string? Who knows for sure how long the economic climate will be unfavourable for her? 5 years? 10 years?
It is time for theWest Dorset District Council to have the courage to USE the Compulsory Purchase powers granted by this Govt. for just this sort of situation.
